Dear parents and carers,
We’ve had the fire service to visit this week, discussing the consequences of small fire-starting and the effect it has on the emergency service resources. We learned how a firefighter’s kit is designed to help them rescue people from flames.
Our visitor from Plastic Free Dunfermline discussed how e-cigarette companies target young people in their advertising and the health and environmental effects of vaping. We then wrote about the evidence, our opinion and thoughts of what the government should do to prevent such advertising.
In maths, we are studying time and the 24 clock, as well as continuing money problems presented in words.
