It was a cold, frosty morning and it is starting to feel a lot like Christmas.
The end of the term is drawing ever closer and everyone has been getting into the Christmas spirit by decorating trees for the classroom to make everything look festive and cheery. We have completed our calendars with a braid made from wool.  We are doing a Secret Santa activity as a class this year and everyone is going to make something at home for one of their classmates.  The children will share their hand made gifts on our Christmas Party Dayon Tuesday, 14 December. Please put gift in a plastic bag clearly labelled with the name of the person it will be given too.

We had our first Enterprise Market Day for the "Make Your Fiver Grow" Challenge today. We are so grateful for all of the wonderful support we have received from our parents, grandparents, friends and classmates. Lots of amazing hand made items were on sale today. It has been a brilliant day with lots of very happy children. We will have a second Market Day tomorrrow and hope to sell all of our items. An amazing effort by Pacific Potteries, From Me To You, Bright Lights, Clay Miceters, Roller Coasters and Stress Busters.  A fantastic team effort by all the shops!

In writing everyone picked one of Santa's Reindeer to write a humorous story about. It was great fun to come up with story lines for each of Santa's Reindeer. We will do some illustrations to go with our stories.

We have done assessments in spelling and numeracy this week and everyone have given their best effort. Well done Primary 6!

Congratulations to Harry Gillespie on his selection as Rights Respecting Schools Representative. His able Deputy is Katy Miller.

With our Enterprise coming to a close this Friday the children have all chosen a mini topic to work on from now until the Christmas holidays. Some children are working in a pair and some children chose to work on their own.

Hope everyone has a wonderful, restful weekend. Snuggle up warm!
