It was lovely to have video call conferences with some parents this week to discuss the progress of your children.  I am absolutely delighted with the effort everyone is showing with their work in class and I am looking forward to further Parent Interviews on Monday and Wednesday next week.
This week we have done a Camping and Glamping Challenge in Numeracy. We had to be careful not to go over our  budgets of £800. A lot of problem solving skills and lots of addition, subtraction, mutiplication and division were required for this task. The children enjoyed working in pairs to come up with the best holiday plans.
We looked at the history of wearing Poppies on Remembrance Day and found the story informative and very interesting. We created a piece of Word Art using our beautiful Poppy poems we wrote last week.
In ICT we are looking at all the requirements needed to take a good photograph like rule of thirds, framing, blurring, grouping, bokeh and many more.
It is full steam ahead on afternoons with our mini Enterprise and all the groups are producing beautiful handmade items.  On Wednesday afternoon we looked at our posters, logos and packaging for our shops.  We plan to reveal all our items using an advertising campaign on Seesaw on the week beginning 23rd November.
I include a sneaky peek at items in the photographs included with this post so that you can see what every group is making. It is looking fabulous so far.
I wish you all a lovely long weekend! Stay safe and take care!
