It has been another busy week in Primary 6!

On Monday we were set a task to decorate the hall railing for our Remembrance Assembly. On Wednesday, 11 November we will take some time to commemorate the sacrifice made by servicemen/women in times of war. We have learned that the day marked the anniversary of the signing of the Armistice that brought an end to Word War I in 1918. After World War 2 the name was changed to Remembrance Day.

A fantastic effort by all of the children in Primary 6 ( including P6 from Mrs Watt's class ) to produce 75 single poppy flowers to decorate the railing. We loved making the Poppies! Amazing effort everyone! Beautiful poems were also written to accompany the Poppy display. Super imagery has been used in these poems and fantastic vocabulary has been utelised.  Thank you also to the eight children who helped to put up the display this afternoon.

In Numeracy we are continuing to look at bills and how to calculate a list of items using money concepts.

We continue to enjoy our class novel Wonder!  Everyone is working hard on identifying tricky parts of their Spelling words.

We are excited to start our "Grow Your Fiver" Enterprise. Information on our Enterprise will follow soon!

Have a wonderful weekend!
