It was wonderful to see all the children back in school on Monday full of excitement for what the term ahead will bring.
We are very excited to announce that we will take part in the "Grow Your Fiver" Challenge this term through Virgin Finance. It is an excellent opportunity to learn about running a small business. More information on our Enterprise will follow soon.
In Literacy we will focus on Functlonal writing creating letters, posters, leaflets and instructions.
In Digital Literacy we are looking at photography using Autumn as a theme.
We had to design our Christmas cards this week and everyone created beautiful artwork. You should have received communication from the school regarding how christmas cards can be ordered. The children's designs should be returned to school by Monday 2nd November.
Our PE days remain on a Monday and Wednesday and children should continue to come to school on these days dressed for outdoor PE. Homework for Term 2 will be issued on Monday 2 November.
