Another week has flown by in Primary 6! The children are working well and enjoying their time together.

We have worked very hard on understanding Mean, Mode, Median and Range in Maths,  It really helped learning the rhyme and we are all much more confident in working out the answers.  We also looked at Multiplying/Dividing by 10, 100 and 1000.

Our "Oceans" personal projects are nearing the end and we have a lovely surprise planned to share on Seesaw with all parents. The children and I are equally proud of the effort they have put into their projects. In Writing we have written a variety of different poems about the ocean or a marine creature.

Everyone is working hard on their spelling to identify tricky parts in a word and to recognise when the spelling of a word does not look quite right.

Once again Primary 6 are producing fantastic artworks. This time it is Zentangle Art - Zentangles are miniature pieces of unplanned, abstract, black and white art created through a very specific method from simple, structured patterns called Tangles.  Zentangles are not only exquisitely beautiful, they are fun and relaxing to create. Some parents have also had a go at these at home.

Have a wonderful, relaxing weekend!
