What a wonderful week in Primary 6!
A highlight of this week is the huge effort everyone has put into their personal projects on Oceans. The books are looking fantastic and the children cannot wait to share these with their families. Lots of artistic skills and ICT skills on show in these wonderful books. Amazing Paper Tearing Collage of Marine animals using newspapers and magazines have been completed. They are so effective and striking.
Super work has also been done on Place Value which were reflected in high scores achieved on an assessment done. We will now move onto Mean, Mode, Median and Range.
In Writing children have used factual information to write a report on "The Great Pacific Garbage Patch". Children used good vocabulary and included their personal opinions about the problem of plastic in the ocean.
The sunny weather has made everyone happy and we hope it continues into the weekend. Take care everyone!
