It has been a very busy week in primary 6. It has been great to see everyone happy and engaging well with tasks and one another.
Charlie Mackesy’s tale of friendship and kindness has pride of place in our classroom. "The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse" is filled with life lessons and social messages.  Each of us selected a quote that we will strive to live by this year. We copied the quotes in our best handwriting and drew a picture to accompany the quote.  Everyone really enjoyed this meaningful task.
We focused on quicker recall with our tables and completed a Maths and Spelling Assessment.
A Rainbow World was the first piece of writing we have done this year. We reflected upon our time away from school and described our feelings during this time.  A fantastic spiderweb display has been made where everyone created a piece of Word Art around a class value. We have enjoyed taking advantage of the sunny weather outside and it has been great to have all our friends back together again.
We are asking that all children to come to school on gym days dressed in their outdoor gym kit. Our gym days are Tuesdays and Wednesdays. School uniform should be worn on the other three days.
Please prebook lunches though the IPay system and remember water bottles should only contain water. Homework will start next week.
Have a fantastic weekend!
