On Monday we did our Red Nose Day presentation at the Infant Reconnector and put up posters around the school.

In Literacy this week we continued our Read Theory comprehension activities in ICT which is proving very popular and is helping develop our lateral thinking. We had to make an agrument for/against the abolition of the Monarchy for Persuasive Writing. Some great arguments given for both sides.

In Numeracy we finished up our work on fractions, decimals and percentages, learning how to work between them. We hope to move onto Time next week.

In Art we studied the life and work of Vincent Van Gogh; making our own pictures, trying to recreate the paint brush technique Vincent so often used.

In P.E. we tried out Joe Wicks '8 minute workouts' as part of our Fitness programme and were surprised how tiring they were!!

Friday was all about the 'red nose'!!! P5b did a marvellous job organising the school competitions and ensuring that everyone had a fun day. Well done and thank you my fabulous P5bs.

Wishing you all a great weekend.
