We've had a great week filled with lots of fun learning.

In Literacy we are working hard to improve our spelling and have been looking at word families and their origins, whilst practising building words using prefixes and suffixes. For Functional Writing this week we looked at the lay out of an informal letter and discussed what would be appropriate content.

In Numeracy we have been continuing to develop our number skills, with our main focus on division. We learned how to divide using the 'house' or 'bus' method which proved a little tricky initially but with continued practise we are getting there. We also tackled some word problems to support our learning.

In P.E. we have had a little break from Scottish Country Dancing but will return to it as the Christmas celebrations draw nearer. Instead we played a selection of fun games to further embed our team skills and spirit.

On Wednesday it was lovely to see all our 'touch of tartan' in the class and we enjoyed learning more about St Andrew as part of Comprehension.

We're looking forward to next Friday's Christmas Fayre and our Christmas craft is coming along nicely.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.
