Firstly, apologies that there hasn't been the usual posts from Seesaw this week, there has been an issue with logging on at school.

In Literacy we looked at creating exciting sentence openers to help with our writing. For Writing this week we used our comic strip planning to make our imaginative adventure story. We are enjoying our class novel Lampie, following her on her adventures with 'Fish'. We also learned about the meaning behind Harvest during a reading comprehension exercise.

In Numeracy we have been adding 2 and 3 digit numbers mentally and partitioning columns to help complete our calculations. We will move on to 'chimney' vertical addition sums after the break.

In our Project time, we watched some short videos explaining about, and demonstrating the processes involved, in the recycling of plastic waste. It was fascinating !! In P.E. we practised shooting hoops for Basketball and played a team game, involving 'stealing' the oppositions flags. For Art we designed, coloured, cut out and folded our paper octopus for hanging in our class display.

On Friday we had an 'Oceans' themed day. We designed and created ocean related worksheets and games for literacy, numeracy and craft which we then got to complete throughout the day.

Wishing all our families a restful and enjoyable fortnight break.
