As we draw ever closer to the end of term we are still working very hard in class to complete all our outstanding jobs and tasks.
For Literacy we are using the Infotrail books to do a variety of reading tasks. We are really enjoying finding out lots of  new information on a variety of topics.
We are busy making videos of our fantastic personal projects on Robert the Bruce and William Wallace.  It is lovely to hear the children speak so confidently about their work. It has been a brilliant project with a lot of hard work and effort put in by all the children. I have been very impressed with the very high standard of these folders and the creative approach taken by the children. I am super proud of all the girls and boys. Your folders are simply wonderful.
We continued our Outdoor Learning sessions by completing our bug hotel. Bundles of sticks were inserted into a wooden box frame and we placed the bug hotel in the garden. We hope that lots of new critters will find shelter in this over the summer holidays.  We are also creating mini gardens on a tray and this has been a very enjoyable activity.
We were SUPER excited when we found out who our teachers will be for next year. It was lovely to go to our new classrooms to meet our teachers and spend some time with them.  Some of us will go to P6 with Mrs Elvin/Mrs Forrest and some of us will be in P5/6 with Mrs Wehmeyer. The children are looking forward to next year and I am confident that they will continue to be very successful.
We really enjoyed visiting the Primary 6 area on Thursday to see all the activities they have completed for their John Muir award.  It was a fantastic display and we say thank you to all of the P6's for the opportunity to visit the area to see all the hard work. We look forward to doing this next year.
Our Social Target Winner of the Week is Eduardo!  Eduardo has kept a positive attitude right up to the end of term. Well done!
One week to go and then everyone can enjoy a well-deserved summer holiday.

We wish everyone a restful weekend!
