The weather has started to change and we are enjoying getting outside for excellent learning experiences.
On Tuesday night we celebrated the achievements of Sophie, Caleb and Ava at the Dunfermline Rotary Celebration evening. They placed first, second and third in the Junior Young Artist Competition. We are very proud of all of you.  Our Rose flower display looked fantastic in the hall and it was lovely to get some compliments on the display. Thank you to some children in P5B who also helped us to make the roses.
We have worked hard to get our planter completed and is busy adding lettering to it to make it more interesting.  The flowers are ready to be planted inside. The children have started a snail artwork incorporating pencil techniques and zentangling. We are looking forward to see the finished artworks. We are finding snails way more interesting than we first thought.
The big highlight of the week was our trip to Stirling Castle. It was a fantastic day and the children asked some great questions and represented their school very well. We say thank you to all the parent helpers who made themselves available on the day. We really appreciate all your help.
On Friday we said said a fond farewell to our lovely music teacher, Mrs Baxter.  Although it made us feel very sad we know she will enjoy her retirement. Thank you for all you have done for us Mrs Baxter. We will miss you!
Have a wonderful weekend!
