It has been wonderful to be out in the sunshine in our playing field and playground this week.
We are working very hard to create some beautiful bouquets of roses and flowers for the Dunfermline Rotary Club Celebration evening on Tuesday, 16th May.  Our class has taught P5B how to make the roses and we are grateful for their help.
In number work we looked at length using the correct units of measurement. We spoke about estimation and how you can be slightly out when you guess. It was fun measuring a variety of items in the classroom.
We are really enjoying our outdoor learning sessions and have looked for new signs of life in the playground this week.  We have also started to paint our planter in Pansy Purple and we will be adding some alphabet letters onto it next week when we have our outdoor learning day.
Our personal projects on Wallace and Bruce are progressing very well and the children are enjoying using a variety of information for this. This included looking at the Scottish Wars of Independence and a Scots poem written from the perspective of the spider in the story of Robert the Bruce and the spider.
During Health Education, we explored what friendships means and how friends treat one another. There were lots of good conversations.
We wish everyone a lovely weekend!
