It has been an exteremely hard working week in Primary P5A with super effort and application on show.
On Monday our wonderful choir under the direction of Mrs Baxter performed at the Fife Music Festival and they received two gold certificates for their performance. Well done to all our choir members:
Isla C, Lucy, Hannah, Allie, Aidan, Freya G, Lexxi and Isla R. We are really proud of you.
A variety of mid term assessments has been taking place this week.  The children have worked very hard and kept their focus well. We completed Maths, Writing, Comprehension and Spelling assessments and it has been hugely encouraging to see the progress that has been made by everyone.  Thank you for all your efforts girls and boys!  Mrs Wehmeyer is really looking forward to reading everyone's story about the pink octopus in the kitchen sink.
In Art we have completed roses in the style of Charles Rennie McIntosh.  They are bold and eye-catching and will make a lovely gift for a special person.
We really enjoyed practicing some passing skills in Basketball and then competed in a relay race to see which team could shoot the most hoops.
In Writing we have completed an argument for or against doing homework.  The children have managed to state their points of view very clearly and have met all the targets that was set.  Well done!
We had a brilliant time n Friday making String Telephones. Such a simple idea but it really works so well.
Our Social Target Winner of the Week is Ava. Ava has been respectful towards others and the school environment.  Congratulations!
We wish everyone a wonderful weekend!
