It has been an extremely busy week in Primary 5A with all of us completing the final items and arrangements for our Christmas Fayre stall.
The Market Research team led by Aidan went all around the school to show our items and to ask for suggestions for prices. The Quality Control team led by Freya H has checked all our items to ensure everything is of a very high standard. The Advertising team led by Isla C has put up eye-catching posters all around the school. Ava and Brooke led the Production team and supported everyone to produce all our decorations.
We wrote a semi-formal letter to Santa and everyone did a fantastic job on this. Santa is going to be so busy on Christmas Eve.
In Maths we continued to work on the box method/bus stop method for division and the more we practise the better we are getting at this.
There has also been super work with division word sums.
On Thursday our P5A choir representatives took part in a festive performance at Sky. Well done to Lexxi, Aidan, Isla C, Lucy, Hannah, Freya G, Isla R and Allie. We heard the performance was wonderful. Thank you also to our wonderful choir leader Mrs Baxter for working with us on all the songs.
We had a most magical time selling all our beautiful Christmas tree decorations at the Christmas Fayre. Everyone looked very festive in their Christmas jumpers and it was lovely to welcome our parents into school. Thank you kindly for all the support given by all the parents/grandparents and for taking the time to come and visit
"Wee Christmas Crafters" in the school hall. What a wonderful way to end the week!
