And here we are at the beginning of December,  There is a real festive atmosphere in school as we draw ever closer to the end of the term.
We all enjoyed decorating our class and dressing our Christmas tree on Thursday.
We continue to give our very best efforts in class with all our tasks. We are really proud of how we have improved the presentation of  our work in our jotters and we used a poem about The Plastic Garbage Patch to illustrate our ever improving handwriting skills.
The big highlight this week has been working on our Enterprise project for the Christmas Fayre sale.  We have finished most of our items but must now make sure everything is completed to a very high standard. We are looking forward to showing our items to other classes and to complete some advertising posters about the Fayre. This week we made a small beaded wreath decoration. We are really looking forward to the Fayre next Friday.
In writing we wrote a letter to our parents or grandparents to tell them all about our Enterprise project. We focused on the format for a friendly/informal letter and everyone was successful with this task.
In number work we consolidated all the terms and vocabulary associated with 3 D shapes. We drew the shapes in our jotters and described them using the correct terms.
In PE we played a game of Football Corners. It was great to see everyone getting more involved in the game and really competing to win the ball. Well done everyone!
On Wednesday we watched a video to explain about the life of St Andrew and we took part in some St Andrew's Day actvities.
Thank you to everyone who has kindly donated a Christmas jumper for the Christmas Jumper Swap Day at school. It is much appreciated.  Children are also invited to wear their Christmas jumpers over their school uniform for the remainder of this term.
Our Social Target winner of the week is Isla Shorthouse. Isla has been particularly helpful towards others in class. Well done!
We wish everyone a wonderful weekend!
