We had a lot of fun creating a "Play" video for Mrs McIntosh this week. We used natural materials and the children came up with some fabulous ideas on how to use the items. We also enjoyed mixing with the P5B class and sharing our creative ideas.
In Number work we continued our investigation on 3D shapes and lines. We are now confidently using all the correct terminology to describe the properties of shapes and lines.
In Art we started to paint our wood slice decorations for our Christmas Enterprise. We are using acrylic pens and Mrs Wehmeyer has been impressed with how focused the children have been on this task, They are taking extra care in making these wonderful decorations adding in lots of super detail. We are working in small groups and there has been lots of encouragement for one another.
We had a very thoughful discussion about the word "Bullying". We spoke about the different types of bullying and why people bully others.
Congratulations goes to Phoebe for being selected as the Rights Respecting Schools representative from our class. Well done to everyone else for putting your name forward for his role. You all spoke well in front of your classmates.
Our Social Target of the Week Winner is Lexxi. Lexxi is always considerate to others and she respects the views of everyone in her class. Well done!
