We are working hard to complete all our tasks at school before the beginning of the Christmas holidays. Everyone is looking forward to a well-deserved holiday with their families.
We raised the wonderful amount of £177.01 for our stall at the Christmas Fayre last Friday. We want to say a heartfelt thank you for all the support we have received. We hope you love all the little gifts we have made for you.
In Maths we enjoyed a fun activity called, "Merry Measure and Angles".  This involved drawing a triangle shape on a piece of paper and covering it from side to side with lines going horizontal and diagonal. The children used rulers to accurately measure each line using millimetres and centimetres.  They also had to find all the different kinds of angles on the tree and identify them. Lastly, they used a protractor to meaure each angle.  Well done boys in girls!
We completed our Scottish dancing block in PE and are now ready for our Christmas party next week.  Our Christmas party will be on Monday afternoon and we are looking forward to having a fun time with Primary 6.
We created a beautiful five point star using origami folding.  These will look fabulous in a window in our homes.
On Wednesday we had Christmas lunch in the hall.May we say thank you to Jeanette and her staff for preparing a fabulous meal for all of us to enjoy together. It was delicious!
We concluded our classification of living things and enjoyed having a quiz about everything we learnt.
On Wednesday afternoon the whole school came together to watch the P1 Nativity, "A Present for the Baby".  Well done to all the P1 children, Mrs Davie and all the P7 helpers.
Our Social Target Winner of the Week is Joah.  Joah has worked hard this week and he has maintained a positve attitude as we come towards the end of term.  Well done Joah!
We wish everyone a wonderful weekend!
