This week we finalised all the arrangements for the running of our stall at the Christmas Fayre.  We did some stock-taking and split our stock to ensure we have items for the morning and the afternoon. We did some quality control to check that all our items are completed to a high standard.  We are very excited to sell our items at the fayre and hope to see everyone there supporting our stall and our school.  A huge tahnk you go to Hannah, Aidan, Anna and Grace for helping to set up the stall in the hall.  It looked fabulous!
In Maths we looked at Angles and watched a powerpoint presentation about the different types of angles we get.  We worked in pairs to identify and describe different types of angles and everyone is able to do this now.
We enjoyed learning a new Scottish dance during our PE session, called "The Dashing White Sergeant". There are a lot of moves to learn and we look forward to dancing this at our Christmas party. Thank you to Mrs Elvin for teaching us all the moves.
On Wednesday the 15 choir members from our class had the opportunity to perform at a lunch time concert at Sky in Dunfermline.  It was a fantastic day and the children represented their class and school very well.  There were lots of smiles and beautiful singing.  We enjoyed performing some well-known Christmas carols to the diners. The lunch provided by Sky was excellent. Thank you to Mrs De Oliveira for her help on the day. We really appreciate it.
All the amazing "Last Bear"pencil technique drawings are now completed. Well done boys and girls. They are really wonderful.
For Project work we looked at classification of living things, specifically the different classes of animals we have on Earth.  We gained new vocabulary and knowledge and enjoyed sorting animals into different categories.
On Friday we had a brilliant time selling our craft items at the Christmas Fayre.  Well done to everyone for taking a turn to sell our items. Thank you to everyone for coming along to support our stall on the day.  We had a lot of fun creating beautiful items to sell and we are very proud of how hard we worked to create these items.  Some of the items were made from recycling paper items and paper offcuts.  It links in very well with the John Muir Award we are doing this year.  Well done to our two managers, Hannah and Aidan for ensuring everything ran smoothly on the day. You were just fantastic.
Our Social Target Winner of the Week is Robbie Taylor.  Robbie is a responsible member of our class and he always takes care of our classroom environment and playground. Well done Robbie!
We wish everyone a relaxing weekend!
