As the weeks fly by we are inching ever closer to the Easter holidays. There is lots of hard work and application in Primary 5/6.
It has been great to share good news with parents about their children's progress and I look forward to sharing more good news next Thursday.
Our fantastic Ukraine Sunflower was a wonderful way to show our support to the people of Ukraine. The Sunflower is the national flower of the Ukraine. Everyone completed a petal of the Sunflower in blue and yellow of the Ukrainian flag and we filled the petals with positive images and messages.  This image will be uploaded onto a Charity website where worldwide support is shown to Ukraine.
A highlight this week was when we supported Orla and James at the Dunfermline Rotary Quiz 2022. There were lots of questions to answer and everyone enjoyed playing along to see how many questions they could get correct. Well done Orla and James.
Another great highlight was the introduction of Hockey during our PE time. Everyone tried hard and learnt lots of new Hockey skills.
In Number work we are looking at Patterns/Scquences and Tally marks and Bar Graph work.  Lots of effort by everyone on this.
Thank you to Sadie for bringing in some Junior magazines that we will use in class for a variety of language tasks. There was a free choice option this week using one of the magazine articles. Lots of new knowledge was also gained.
We continue to enjoy our wonderful class novel The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse. Look out for some recordings of quotes from the book to be posted on Seesaw.  Caitlin has done a fantastic job getting all these recordings done over the last few weeks. Thank you Caitlin! A very cool green screen effect achieved.
We have had a lot of fun writing small conversations in Spanish and then working in a pair to have a Spanish conversation. Welll done everyone!
There was a briliant piano performance by Isobel playing Demons and a part of a new song she is learning.  Lots of confidence shown to play so confidently in front of her classmates.
The Social Target winner of the week is Aiden. Well done for taking  responsibility for your own learning.
We wish everyone a peaceful weekend!
