There has been lots of excitement in Primary 5/6 this week as we added the finishing touches to our felt sewing items for the Virtual Christmas Fayre. This has taken up most of our time this week.
The completed felt items are as follows:
pig in a blanket tree decoration, snowman tree decoration, love heart tree decoration. earth squishie and key rings.
All six items are beautifully presented in a decorated brown paper gift bag. The items are absolutely wonderful and we are sure our families will love all the items we have made.
All the Enterprise teams worked very hard on completing all their jobs. Caitlin and Riley was there to offer their support and advice.
A huge thank you goes to Ava B,  Ava M, Mollie L, Lewis and Murray for all the time they have spent this week making videos of their classmates. You have all done a brilliant job. Orla and Jake wrote a letter to parents to inform them of all the work we have done for our enterprise. Thank you to both of you. We are all very proud of the effort we have put into our Enterprise project. We enjoyed learning a new skill and showed resilience and patience.
We continue to explore the properties of  3D-shapes and will now attempt to draw and label them
We  are really enjoying our class novel Cloud Busting by Marjorie Blackman. The book is full of wonderful quotes and there is lots to discuss together.
In writing we started to write a letter to Santa. We also asked lots of questions about his reindeer and Mrs Clause.
On Friday we all put on our sparkly Christmas jumpers and everyone looked wonderful and festive. We also had huge fun exchanging our Secret Santa gifts. Thank you to everyone for making a gift to share with a classmate.
Congratulations to Caitlin for being selected as the Social Target of the week winner. You demonstrated Canmore values with your helpful attitude during our Enterprise.
Have a restful weekend and get the Christmas shopping done!
