The month of December is here and everyone is getting excited about all the wonderful activities we have planned in the coming few weeks.
On Tuesday we celebrated St Andrew's Day. It was wonderful to see all the colourful tartan touches worn by everyone. We made a stained glass window card and went on a dictionary hunt with words connected to St Andrew's Day.
In Maths we have started looking at 3-D shapes and all the properties they have. We have each folded and decorated a 3-D shape and turned them into a Christmas decoration for the class.
We started our gift Advent calendar on Wednesday and we will all open our gifts together on the last day of term. Everyone is also making a Secret Santa gift to give to one of their classmates.
In writing everyone has worked very hard to complete their Imaginator leaflets. Lots of good vocabulary used and excellent drawings.
Katie and Sadie kindly decorated our small Christmas tree to bring some festive cheer into the classroom.
We have almost completed our items for the Virtual Christmas Fayre and Ryan and his qualitycontrol team must now just ensure we complete everything to a very high standard.  Every child will advertise the items they have made on Seesaw and the Ava B's Tech Team is ready to start making videos of everyone.
Thank you to Lyle for supplying the name of the Enterprise ( Supreme Sewers ). Morgan designed the font and Astra designed the logo. Astra, Ashton and Isobel is creating posters for the Virtual Fayre and Orla and Jake are busy writing a letter to the parents to tell them about all the lovely items we are selling at our shop.
A huge congratulations goes to Olivia for showing kindness and respect towards others. Well done on being the Social Target of the Week winner.
We hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
