The last week of November is here! Unbelievable!
This week there has been a big focus on creating our items for the virtual Christmas Fayre. Everyone has been brilliant with their sewing and have really enjoyed making a variety of Christmas tree decorations, key rings and squishies.  We are creating pigs in blankets,  snowmen,  love hearts, earths with a santa hat and keyrings. All of the items will be presented in a beautifully decorated gift bag. Well done boys and  girls! Everyone now wants sewing kits for Christmas. Take a note mums and dads!
We have set up our Christmas company and are busy deciding on a name and a logo.  Congratulations to Riley and Caitlin who has been selected as managers of the company during a class vote. We look forward to getting our posters and advertising campaign started. Photographs of all the departments of our company will follow soon.  The effort and application from everyone has been superb so far. The concentration on faces whilst sewing has been great to see and it has also helped to create a calm atmosphere in class.
We worked in pairs on quicker recall with timetables to assist us with division strategies. A lot of hard work has been done on conquering the bus stop method in division. Well done everyone for showing a "can do " attitude.
We used the "Once Upon a Story" online website and wrote a description of the Imaginator machine. There has been lots of fabulous ideas about what goes into the machine and what comes out. Our next step is to design a leaflet to advertise the machine.
In PE we had lots of fun playing "Follow My Leader" and we used tennis balls to practice our hand- eye coordination skills.
We continued to explore 'bulllying' and looked at the three main ways bullying occurs namely physical, emotional and verbal. We looked at the effect that body language and gestures can have on others and had some thoughtful discussions.
Congratulations to Gael on being selected as Social Target of the Week winner. You listen so well and are always considerate towards others in class.
We wish everyone a restful weekend!
