Primary 5/6 Weekly Update

We had a lovely end to the term in Primary 5/6. In mathematics we looked back over all of the four operations that we have looked at this term and reflected on what strategies the pupils were now most confident with and what they would want to work on next term. We also made some paper chains that were join together by different division calculations.

In literacy the pupils wrote what they felt the recipe for the perfect Christmas was and made predictions on how different short Christmas movie clips or Adverts would end. We also practiced spelling more festive words in spelling.

In art pupils did some more work on their calendars for 2020 and in Spanish we were continuing to look at how you say different food names and how you would order food in a restaurant. Pupil's christmas general knowledge was also put to the test in a number of Christmas themed quizzes.

It was another busy week for the Choir well done to all the pupils involved opening  the nativity shows with some beautiful singing.

Well done to all of the pupils in Primary 5/6 for their effort this term. I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday and a super Christmas and I look forward to seeing everyone again in the New Year.
