Hello everyone, what a fabulous week we have had in Primary 4/5!
We have looked at our rights in Health and Wellbeing and have centred our class charter around four main rights. I am sure you agree that our charter is looking beautiful and we are looking forward to growing together this year.
In numeracy, we have started off with number bonds and place value activities. Miss Graham has been super impressed with our mental math recall of number bonds to 100! We have enjoyed playing hit the button and improving our class personal best!
In writing, we have looked at WAGOLL and the success criteria for every time we write. The pupils enjoyed the picture prompt of an eye and created descriptive pieces around this. We have also been revisiting our letter formation and neat handwriting.
This week we have also been introduced to our topic for the term and we look forward to learning all about the rainforest and comparing this to Scotland.
As we move into next week there are a few things I would like to highlight, we are now to wear our gym kits on gym days so P4/5 can come dressed for gym on a Monday and Thursday. We are also reminding children that if we are bringing in water bottles for class, we should only have these filled with water ONLY.
I hope you have a great weekend,
