Good afternoon,
What a wonderful week we have enjoyed in Primary 4/5.
A highlight of the week was Sports Day on Thursday morning. The rain held off for our potted sports and races with everyone getting stuck in and having lots of fun!
A real school community feeling and buzzing atmosphere could be felt all day! Well done to everyone in Primary 4/5, for their sportsmanship, their cheering for each other was inspirational and made everyone smile. The children were a real credit to the school!
In writing, we have been focusing on play scripts, writing another play script applying our knowledge of inverted commas and punctuation. We are also in the middle of filming our drama performances, these are really bringing out the actors and actresses of the class! Lots of expression and gesture being used.
The display in the library with our book review QR codes has also been a focus this week. Everyone did an excellent job with this and I can't wait to share the final display soon!
In numeracy, we have turned our attention to measure. We have started with area and have found success in this. We have also enjoyed being outdoors for our Field Good Friday!
