In Numeracy we have done a little more practice with division at the beginning of the week and also started working with money, building up to giving change. We have been looking a prefixes in literacy and how they can change the meaning of a root word. We will follow on next week with suffixes and some dictionary work. Our topic Energy, Work and Forces is proving popular and we have been able to conduct a few related experiments this week which have been fun. As you will be aware, from next week we are able to conduct our P.E. lessons indoors which is great news. Children are still to come to school in their gym kits on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Those children who were registered, received their flu nasal sprays this week and were all very brave - no tears from anyone !! Please note that next week will be a 4 day week for the children due to staff INSET on Friday 13th November. Have a great weekend.
