On Monday the children got to visit their new classroom area and teacher for Primary 5. They were given the opportunity to talk about what they have liked in Primary 4 and their hopes and aspirations for next year.

In literacy we did consolidation work on parts of vocabulary and practising our spelling of homophones. We wrote and designed mini books, some of which were stories, whilst others were reference books. In Numeracy we completed times tables activities and played some number skill games during ICT time.

We also completed follow on activities for the HWB videos on Growing and Changes.

For Art we looked at the work of Banksy and found out all about his mysterious unknown identity. We recreated 'the girl with heart balloon' and added our own inspirational quotes.

On Tuesday we were very fortunate to join the rest of the school to watch the P7 dress rehearsal of their production of 'Rock Bottom'. It was an excellent show, with lively songs, funny dialogue and great costumes. The children and staff all thoroughly enjoyed it. It was the House End of Year Treat on Wednesday, with some of the children getting to watch the movie Sing 2 ( which was EVEN better than the first one, apparently !! ) On Thursday it was our chance to have fun on the giant inflatables, followed by an ice lolly sitting in the sunshine. I'm glad to say that there were no major 'bouncidents' to report !!

We rounded off the week with our final session of Outdoor Learning on Friday morning. We were bug hunting this week and we managed to fit in some Discovery Learning 'free choice' before lunch too.

Wishing everyone a lovely weekend.
