We've had an exciting and busy week. The photographer was in school on Monday and everyone was looking so smart in their shirt and tie.
On Tuesday we visited Fordell Firs along with P4/5 and P5 as part of our Natural Connections creditation. A great day was had by all. The children did us proud. They were polite, enthusiastic, brave, resilient and encouraging. They all gave their absolute best.
Despite the slightly windy and wet start to our day, Thursday's Sports Day turned out to be a roaring success. Again the children showed a fantastic sporting spirit and joined in all the activities with great enthusiasm. It was so lovely to see so many parents mange a long to watch. Thank you. The children really loved having a crowd there to cheer them on.
Next week is a four day week, with Friday being a holiday. We plan to have lots of fun Jubilee activities for the children to enjoy. As part of our Jubilee Celebrations next week, we plan to show the movie The Queen's Corgi. If any parent does not want their child to participate, please could you let myself or the office know by Monday.
