This week in Literacy we were categorising sentences into statements, questions, exclamations and commands. We also practised our handwriting, focusing on correct sizing and formation. We are really enjoying our class novel, The Parent Agency by David Baddiel. It's very funny and it does make us think how lucky we are to have our own parents !!

In Numeracy we have been putting our number skills to good use, completing some complex multi-step word problems. We have been playing interactive maths games together to help secure our times tables.

For Art this week we found out a little about the artist Andy Warhol and recreated his block print technique making our 'Pop Art' coca cola bottle pictures.

We had the first of our two taster sessions for hockey on Tuesday. The children did extremely well and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.. ( a few have already signed up to the classes highlighted in the flyer sent home )

Outdoor Learning this week had us practising our map reading skills again, this time finding markers placed by P4/5. We also got the chance for a little bit of Discovery Learning outside play too.

Wishing everyone a lovely weekend.
