We managed to pack in quite a lot of work into this shortened week !!

In Literacy we further explored inverted commas ( speech marks ) and created our own dialogue to help demonstratre their use. We also practised proof reading a variety of texts, highlighting the errors. The children seemed to enjoy 'being teacher' for the day.

In Numeracy, following on from Outdoor Learning, we continued working on angles and compass points, using our skills in 'real life' scenarios.

In P.E. we have started practising the skills required for our up and coming Sports Day. Information to follow. This week in Outdoor Learning, it was our turn to set out the markers in Orienteering for the other classes. We then took our turn at transfering some of the growing seedlings, that we planted a few weeks ago, into the school garden. Fingers crossed we see some results soon.

Please check your child's bag as a letter regarding a trip to Fordell Firs was handed out in class this week.

Wishing everyone a lovely weekend.
