This week in Literacy we finished our reading books for the term and practrised uplevelling sentences with a very festive theme.
In Numeracy we also had a Christmassy feel to our work as we completed several problem solving mysteries, relying on our number skills to crack the clues.
We had our P3 & P4 Christmas party on Wednesday which was a huge success. The children had great fun playing party games, dancing and eating party snacks. The dance competition, in particular, was very tricky to judge as we have some real talent in the class. We also had our Christmas lunch on Wednesday, with festive music and crackers to pull.
In Art/STEM we learned how to make giant paper snowflakes to hang on the wall, following instructions from a youtube video.
On Friday we had the opportunity to watch the online Panto 'Cinderella'.
" Oh yes we did ...!!!!! " and were allowed to eat choc ices too !!
