Primary 4 have been very busy this week finishing off their craft for the Christmas Fayre and making videos to send home on Seesaw, showcasing their talents. The 2 decorated wooden discs are for sale at the bargain price of £1.50 for the two !! Money can be sent into school from Monday if you wish to buy them.

In LIteracy we watched a short clip from Raymond Briggs's 'The Snowman'  and came up with our own ideas for a snowman adventure which we wrote about and then illustrated. We practised our handwriting this week, copying out the first 4 lines of 'Twas the Night before Christmas' and continued our reading books, hoping to finish them by next week, ready to start another story next term.

In Numeracy we consolidated our work on addition and subtraction, practising the various methods we have been looking at.

In ICT we have continued to follow BBC Dancemat to improve the speed and accuracy of our keyboard skills. Art is all about Christmas this week so look out for your child's masterpieces coming home soon.

For Outdoor Learning we studied clouds and really enjoyed learning the names for all the different types. We got the opportunity to identify some of them in the playground.

We finished off the week celebrating Christmas Jumper Day with the children looking very festive indeed.

Wishing you all a great weekend.
