We took advantage of the glorious weather at the beginning of the week and managed our daily mile and our Running Club during outdoor P.E.
In Literacy our reading groups are progressing well and all the children are enjoying the variety of books on offer. Our developing comprehension skills are adding to the experience and allowing for deeper discussion and enquiry. We are continuing to practise neat handwriting and improving the general presentation of our jotter work.
In Numeracy we are consolidating our known tables, using a variety of activities and games and working on the speed and accuracy of addition number work,
In our Dunfermline topic work, we enjoyed learning more about Robert the Bruce, his connection to Dunfermline and studying the Battle of Bannockburn.
We were introduced to another local king and queen with connections to our school and hope to learn more about them both next week.
Could I ask that ALL of your children's property be named, especially jumpers and jackets as our lost proprerty continues to grow....
