This week in Numeracy we have been consolidating our understanding of Place Value through a variety of activities. We have also started looking at strategies to help us solve practical maths problems. In Literacy we are focusing on uplevelling our sentences and practising to form our letters correctly and neatly in handwriting. Our topic this term is Dunfermline and we've already researched some of the local amenities available and thought about what others we would like to have. We created Dunfermline skylines in Art using coloured card, focusing on line to create our finished pieces. In ICT we are using search engines to find out interesting facts about our home/school town.
Please return your child's NHS brown envelope if you have not already done so. Can I also just remind everyone to please name all your child's property, including outdoor jacket and packed lunches as our lost propery is beginnnig to fill up already. Many thanks for your help with this.
