Well, I can't quite believe that that's us into June already! We've had a busy week, having finally started our Roman shields and accessories. We've also been finalising and practising our Roman scripts which hopefully will be ready to record from next week. The photographer was in school this week and Primary 4 had our class photograph taken on Thursday.
In Literacy, we did more dictionary practise, using our spelling keywords and we wrote out the poem The Caterpillar by Christina Rosetti during handwriting. In Numeracy, we finished our work on Area by calculating the areas of various composite shapes using squared centimetres and then moved onto Angles: identifying right, acute and obtuse angles. Unfortunately our Woods Walk, scheduled for this Friday, had to be postponed until next Wednsday but we still managed to get outside and made some really interesting patterns and pictures using just the resources found in the school grounds. Please remember that it's a holiday Monday next week. Let's hope the lovely weather stays with us. Have a relaxing long weekend.
