This week we looked at our RSHP (Living and Growing) programme of work, watching an information DVD and completing the accompanying worksheets. In Literacy we looked at speech marks again, continued our spelling and reading and started to write our first drafts of our short Roman plays. We looked at examples of playscripts so we could learn how to set ours out similarly. In Numeracy we learned about the difference between tha area and the perimeter of a shape then concentrated on finding the area of quadrilaterals and right angled triangles. Can you remember how to do it ?
We made our Bug Hotels in Outdoor Learning this week, using materials that we had collected in the playground, and some string. They look pretty impressive, I'm sure you'll agree.
