It's been another busy week for P4. It was lovely to speak to so many of you at our Parent Consultations. Thank you so much for all your kind words of encouragement for the school, we greatly appreciate them. I look forward to speaking to the remaining families on Monday. Let's hope that it's not too long until we can all meet up again.

In Literacy, we are enjoying our reading group times and feel that we are really benefiting from the extended focus this term.  We plan to read together 2/3 times at the start of the week which will allow the books to come home on the Thursday for any additional support. We are continuing to practise our spelling words through a variety of activities within class and are doing handwriting practise each week too. In Numeracy, we have completed our Time topic and we are feeling more confident now using analogue, digital and 24 hour. We have moved onto Fractions and will continue our work over the next couple of weeks.

This week was our first visit to Field Friday. We had great fun out at the playground and field, exploring our local environment. The weather was extremely kind to us. However I'm not sure how we'll fair over the coming weeks!!

Fingers crossed that the sun remains for us over the next couple of days.  Wishing you all a fantastic weekend.
