Time is flying by!! The Christmas spirit is beginning to creep into the classroom and we've been busy this week designing cards and completing our secret mission - thank you for allowing the children to bring in their festive paraphernalia. I think you'll be pleased when all is revealed !! In Literacy we worked on our dictionary skills and created our own Limerick poems. They're 'pretty' awesome if we say so ourselves. In Numeracy we continued working on our Information Handling skills. We found Carroll diagrams a little tricky first time round but are feeling more confident now. We also practised our 4 timestable again, using different activities to help us. Christmas Jumper Day was a big success and everyone made a real effort. It was fun comparing all the different designs. You should now have received home any christmas card and item orders that you placed.
A  reminder that the Christmas lunch is next Wednesday, the 16th of December. It will be followed by the PRIMARY 4 CHRISTMAS PARTY in the afternoon of the 16th. Unfortunately due to current Covid restrictions children are asked to come to school in their party clothes. If it is wet then we will ensure an indoor break and lunch to save those lovely party clothes!

Have a lovely weekend!
