Good afternoon and belated Burns day!
As we were in school on Burns Day this year, we took the opportunity to learn some more Scots words and to have a Scottish Ceilidh. We had lots of fun with Primary 3, listening to some bagpipe music, remembering some Scottish country dancing from our Christmas party and eating some delicious Scottish shortbread!
What a lovely end of the week treat! We have definitely celebrated everything Scottish!

Our class poetry winners were announced at the beginning of the week with all three pupils performing in front of Mrs McIntosh. I would like to again say a BIG thank you for your efforts at home in learning the poems. Our class did a superb job and they ALL should be very proud of their performance.

As we are getting very close to the Music Festival, we had some extra singing practice with Mrs Baxter. We look forward to singing next Wednesday morning at the Vine and welcome you all to join us for this. Tickets will be available at the Conference centre that morning and we would love to see you there.

We are also looking forward to seeing you all next Tuesday at our 'Sharing the Learning' session. We will be completing a STEAM challenge linked to our outdoor learning and Scottish Wildlife focus and we would love you to come along from 9.15-9.45am. If you can't make this session, don't worry as we will be offering another opportunity at the end of the term to come in and join us in the classroom.

We look forward to seeing you all next week, keep checking Seesaw for all our posts/updates on our daily learning experiences.

Miss Graham and P3/4
