Good afternoon, what a holly jolly week we have had in Primary 3/4. To begin the week we found out that Fire was the winning house! A lot of excitement and cheer and a wonderful Friday afternoon treat was enjoyed across the school.

As we have finished our Charlie and the Chocolate Factory book, we also enjoyed comparing the film to the book this week. We looked at some of the similarities and differences between the film and book and asked critical questions about this. In literacy, we focused on creating and answering questions, using clues from the pictures and the text to help us.

In numeracy, we combined all of our learning in addition, to finish off the topic with a little assessment. We are feeling more confident adding to 100 in P3 and beyond in P4! We will keep practicing on TopMarks and Sumdog to ensure we are growing and strengthening our numeracy minds!

A real highlight of the week was supporting the P1 Nativity. Alongside P2 and P3. We were the main chorus for the show. Well done to all the P1 pupils who performed on stage! Another highlight was our Christmas dinner on Wednesday. Lots of festive fun to be had!

Next week we will enjoy a shorter week with our Christmas party being on the Wednesday morning. We look forward to all of the fun still to come. i would like to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy new year.
