In Literacy our focus for Writing is formal letter writing. The children wrote letters to the Scottish National Museums enquiring about the Ancient Egyptian Collection which links to our IDL topic, The Egyptians. We continued to work with time in Numeracy this week, some of us telling the time to 5 minute intervals. This week we have been practising our songs for the Fife Festival of Music which takes place next Tuesday, the 28th of January. A letter has been sent home with all the details. Please remember that there will be no school lunch available to our class that day due to timings, therefore a packed lunch will be required by all children. Many of the children did a magnificent job at reciting the poems for our Scottish Assembly on Friday. I was so impressed by all their efforts.
The children will be bringing a letter home explaining our new school forum, Seesaw, with instructions on how to access your child's folder from home.
