Happy New Year to everyone. I hope you all had a happy and restful holiday. It's lovely to have the children back full of exciting stories to share about their festive break. This week in Numeracy we have started looking at time again so any extra practise at home would be fantastic.In Literacy we are concentrating on functional writing for the next few weeks, starting with informal letter writing. Our reading will start again next week and the homework grid for the term will also be sent home. For the next couple of weeks we will be looking at Scotish poems in class as part of our celebrations in school to coincide with Burns Day. The children have a poem to learn and practise reciting at home for Tuesday the 21st of January.Have a good weekend.
