We started the week on Monday with a minute's silence at 11 o'clock in honour of Remembrance Day. The children were extremely respectful and we shared our family experiences afterwards.
In Numeracy, we are continuing to practise our known tables regularly and are now looking at Information Handling as well. We are enjoying collecting data and thinking of appropriate ways to display our findings.
In Writing, we are extending our focus on descriptive openers and are practising checking and editing our work.
On Thursday, the whole school had great fun dressing up in spots and sparkles and exercising with the 'Big Move'. The juice and home made biscuits and treats were a very welcome addition to the afternoon. Thank you for all your support and donations. So far the count is standing at £563. Well done Canmore !!
