We have had a busy week in Primary 3, unfortunately Mrs Hay has been unwell so we have missed her very much!
In Numeracy, we have continued to look at adding 2 digit numbers to 2 digit numbers (grouping and non grouping).  We have also been challenged with word problems which make us think really hard about what they are asking us to do.  We also looked at angles and did an angle scavenger hunt around the P3 & P3/4 area to find acute, obtuse and right angles.
In Literacy, we have been writing instructions for creating snowmen candles which we will be selling at the Christmas Fayre.  In Phonics, we have looked at the blend 'l' with bl, fl, cl, sl and gl and made sound clouds with these.
We have also been looking at designing our own board games in groups and thought about what we need to have to make a fun and interesting game for others to play.
We have also enjoyed creating Christmas tree decorations, learning the Nativity songs with Mrs Baxter in Music and Scottish Country dancing in anticipation of our Christmas parties at the end of term.
What a busy bunch we have been!  Have a lovely weekend from Primary 3.
