Good afternoon,

What a super end to a fantastic year! There has been so much fun and excitement this week.

I would like to start by saying a massive thank you to all the P3 parents for your presents. You are incredibly generous and I really love how much thought has gone into what you have got me. There is one that I am especially looking forward to opening to celebrate the beginning of the holidays!

On Monday afternoon, we were treated to the P7 show. We showed our good audience skills throughout the performance. The show was excellent and there was lots of happy memories from the P7's time at Canmore.

In Outdoor Learning, we had a Teddy Bears Picnic. Our friend Marvin the Mole came to visit and hid treats around the field for us to find. He then stayed for the Teddy Bears Picnic and the rest of the day to discover what it was like to be a pupil at Canmore. We also had a visit from Mrs Ewing who awarded  us with our Silver Natural Connection awards for working so hard during Outdoor Learning.

On Thursday afternoon, we had our turn on the bouncy castles. There was a lot of laughter and giggling throughout our time on the the castles and slides. Mrs Hay couldn't wait to have a shot on the slide, to make sure it was safe for everyone else to have a go (of course).

We finished the year with a film and ice lollies. It was a lovely chilled out way to finish the term before going out to clap for the P7s as they left the school for the last time.

This has been an absolutely fantastic year and a half, and it has been an utter joy spending each day with this class. As you will all know, I am moving to another school next term but I am taking away so many fun-filled and special memories of the school, and particularly my time with this class!

Have a fun and relaxing summer holidays
