Good afternoon,

What an exciting week it has been! Our big highlight was heading to the National Museum of Scotland on Tuesday. We got to visit lots of the exhibition spaces in the Museum and really enjoyed the interactive sections. The Formula 1 racing car was a definite favourite! The class was also set a challenge of completing the Ancient Egyptian trail. There were 8 activities to complete and the answers were found all over the Museum. There was a lot of learning happening and we are going to use this new found knowledge to help us next week for our own Museum.
(please keep Friday 23rd June 1:45-2:45pm free).

In Numeracy, we have been learning about fractions. On Wednesday,  we revised the fractions we have met before but are moving on to more complicated fractions so be ready for us to share all our new knowledge!

These have been lots of opportunities to use our creativity this week. Not only have we been making Pharaoh headdresses but Egyptian necklaces too. These will be on display for all visitors to the Museum! We also had a secret activity for our Dad's too. We made Father's Day cards. Check school bags on Sunday!

Hope you have a lovely weekend and look forward to seeing everyone on Monday
