Good afternoon,

I can’t quite believe that we are at the end of term already!

It has been a very exciting week in Primary 3. On Monday, we visited the Creative Dance Festival and performed in front of lots of other schools. Mrs Hay was very proud, as we absolutely nailed the performance! We got to perform again on the Tuesday to not only the parents but to the whole school. Mrs Hay told us she was the proudest teacher in the whole universe.

In Literacy, we finished writing our letters to Marvin the Mole. He was asking us all about what we do in Outdoor Learning. We spent a lovely time remembering all the fun we have had. The Hide and Seek last week was incredibly popular. There has also been a lot of requests for visits to the woods next term. Please be ready for requests for help!

We have started to learn about pictograms in Maths. We have been drawing and interpreting the data. Not only have the pictures been counting in ones, we have also looked at pictograms with pictures with the value of two, five and ten.

In Outdoor Learning, we had a Spring Treasure Hunt. We had to work out the letters for the words to unlock the chest and win our prize. Luckily, we had a crack team (P3 and P3/4) on the task and we managed to unlock the treasure.

Hope you have a wonderful holiday and look forward to seeing everyone on the Monday the 17th of April.
