Good afternoon,

It has been an action packed week! We had a crime committed in our area. We came in to discover our K’nex had been stolen overnight. Luckily, we had been looking at fingerprints the day before and the police provided us with the prints they had found at the scene of the crime and some likely suspects. We used the fingerprints to find out who stole our K’nex. It was a criminal called Gangsta Gina! Our area was then told Gina had gone on the run and that there was no clues to help find her.  We then assisted the investigation by creating our own WANTED poster which we are going to stick up around the school to help get the missing K’nex returned. We have our fingers firmly crossed that this situation will be resolved soon.

In Numeracy, we have been looking at analogue time. The focus has been on o’clock, half past, quarter past and quarter to. We had a Scoot on Wednesday to test our skills and we did brilliantly! We have also been learning digital clocks too. In Outdoor Learning, we looked at what we could do in one minute. We saw how many times we could:
  • Write our names
  • Star jump
  • Shuttle run
  • Sing ‘Happy Birthday’
  • Skip
We were exhausted after all this!

Hope you have a relaxing weekend and look forward to seeing everyone on Monday.
